Electrical connection safety

To mitigate risks and promote a secure working environment, it is imperative to adhere to the following guidelines:

1. Voltage Verification: Before powering up any device, always verify that the supply voltage matches the specifications indicated on the device. Any deviation from the recommended voltage can result in equipment malfunction.
2. Cable Inspection: Regularly inspect the supply cable of the device for any signs of wear, fraying, or damage. A compromised cable can expose live wires, posing a significant risk of electric shock or fire. Replace damaged cables immediately to prevent accidents.
3. Dry Hands: Never plug or unplug devices from a wall socket with damp or wet hands. Moisture increases conductivity and heightens the risk of electric shock. Prioritize drying your hands thoroughly before handling any electrical components.
4. Port Usage Caution: Exercise caution when connecting devices or peripherals to ports such as USB, serial, or parallel. Any unauthorized use or connection may introduce unforeseen risks and compromise the integrity of the system. Conduct a thorough risk analysis before implementing any new connections.
5. Safety Training: Ensure all personnel receive adequate training on the safe usage of electrical devices. Training should encompass proper handling techniques, emergency procedures, and risk mitigation strategies. Electromagnetic interferences

The device is certified compliant with current electromagnetic compatibility standards.

Be aware of potential electromagnetic interference (EMI) when working with other equipment placed in the vicinity of Arago. Avoid placing devices near sources of electromagnetic radiation, such as power lines, as this can disrupt functionality. Shielding sensitive equipment and using EMI filters can help mitigate these risks.

Travel Safety

It is crucial that your current Arago setup aligns with the digital twin. If you mount either half or the full turntable extension, go to “Window,” select “Settings,” and ensure the Turntable extension is configured correctly.
  
Opening the Settings window will activate in the scene the software safety sensors attached to the tilt (T) element and to the end of the primary camera frustrum.
  

Lastly, the Drive to point* field specifies the maximum distance between the camera and a selected point in the scene for the “Drive to” position feature to be activated. This distance should be minimized to reduce the risk of traversing across the entire scan space, which may involve moving through the object placed on the turntable.
