Giant 3D printed tree sculpture
Project done in collaboration with a Danish artist Pio Diaz and a 3D printing company Damvig. Individual tree branches were scanned using photogrammetry and later assembled into the final shape of the sculpture under the guidance of the artist. Model was cut into hundreds of individual pieces with interlocking joints for assembly and 3D printed in gypsum powder (SLS). The sculpture is currently on display at the entrance of Hotel Herman K in Copenhagen (Brøchner Hotels).
