Giant Skull
At the grand opening of the visitor center at Hammershus, Bornholm, guests were greeted by a 2.5 m replica of a human skull.
A skull found during an archaeological excavation in the nineteen-forties was 3D scanned and used by 10Tons to robot mill negative styrofoam molds to be used for creating the base of the sculpture. Later, the surface details were sculpted by hand and a paint job was added to resemble the original as close as possible.
