System Requirements

Before operating LightArray, verify that your setup meets the following requirements:

  • Electrical:
    • Input Power: 110–240 V, up to 6 A
    • Output Supply: 48 V, 12 A, with auxiliary ports delivering 48 V at 4 A
  • Hardware:
    • Compatible with the Rigsters Controller LA4, offering four dedicated LED ports, USB 3.0 connectivity, LAN for data transfer, and support for camera tethering.
  • Software:
    • Installation of LightArray desktop app or Arago Control software to configure, synchronize, and control the flash sequencing and polarization functions.
  • Environmental:
    • Operate indoors, in a well-ventilated, controlled environment to ensure optimal cooling and maintain stable performance of the LED modules.

Safety Precautions

To ensure safe operation and handling of the LightArray system, adhere to the following guidelines:

  • Electrical Safety:
    • Always confirm that all electrical connections are secure and the system is properly grounded.
    • Avoid unauthorized modifications or repairs of internal components.
  • LED and Optical Safety:
    • Do not look directly into the high-intensity COB LEDs to prevent potential eye injury.
    • Use appropriate protective equipment when adjusting optical components or polarization filters.
  • Handling:
    • Handle all units and accessories with care to avoid physical damage.
    • Follow the provided packaging and transportation guidelines to minimize the risk of shock or vibration damage during transit.
  • Operational Practices:
    • Follow all on-screen instructions provided by the Rigsters Controller software for safe operation.
    • Keep the operational area clear to prevent accidental interference with electronic or optical components.

Malfunction and Emergency Procedures

In the event of a malfunction or unexpected behavior:

  • Troubleshooting:
    • Consult the troubleshooting section of the Rigsters Controller manual for issues related to connectivity, synchronization, or LED triggering.
    • Verify that all cables and connections are properly secured.
  • Emergency Shutdown:
    • If the system exhibits erratic behavior or a fault is detected, immediately disconnect the power supply.
    • Follow the emergency shutdown procedures outlined in the safety manual.
  • Support:
